Die Grenzen der musikalischen Genres durchbrechen und etwas Neues schaffen......das sind die Besidos!

Das Darmstädter Quartett plündert ungeniert die Musikgeschichte, geht dabei aber eher mit dem Seziermesser als mit dem Holzhammer zu Werke. Sie unterziehen die ausgewählten Stücke einer Balkan-Gypsie-Pop-Kur. Da werden die Sugababes mit Raki abgefüllt und legen einen Bauchtanz hin, während Blur ihre Stromgitarren in die Ecke werfen und nach bester Django Reinhard Manier akustisch lospunken. „Killing in the Name of “ von „Rage Against the Machine“ wird zu einer Geigennummer, bei der man sich kaum vorstellen kann, dass es ursprünglich kein mazedonisches Volkslied war...
Sommerlich heiss und erfrischend spritzig: Auf zahlreichen Konzerten mit Bands wie BaBa ZuLa, Dubioza Kolektiv, Rotfront, Amsterdam Klezmer Band oder Imam Baildi wurde dieses Motto von Frankfurt, Ernsthofen über Ohrid bis Istanbul unter Beweis gestellt!

The Darmstadt quartet unashamedly plunders the history of music,but uses a scalpel instead of a mallet while doing so,putting the selected pieces under a Balkan-Gypsy-Pop-Therapy.The Sugababes sound as blue as "Raki",while Blur lays their electric guitars down by the corner and the rythm invites you to belly dance with the spirit of Django Reinhard...."Killing in the name of" by "Rage Against the Machine" turns into a fiddle track in the hands of Besidos,which one can hardly imagine that it was not a Macedonian Folk Song to start with.The Music goes through a metamorphosis,leaving a very curious taste behind and revealing a unique chemistry which has its roots down in the history and character of Besidos as a Band and the personal (hi)stories of the Members.
"Summer hot and refreshingly tangy" is how Besidos' music is described which,as a Band,has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Bands such as BaBa ZuLa,Dubioza Kolektiv,Rotfront,Amsterdam Klezmer Band or Imam Baildi...and they have had to spread this Motto,while proving it right,all the way from Frankfurt,Ernsthofen,over Ohrid to Istanbul!

Το κουαρτέτο από το Darmstadt ανενδοίαστα λεηλατεί την ιστορία της μουσικής αλλά με την δεξιοτεχνία μικροχειρουργού. Κάθε γνωστό επιλεγμένο κομμάτι ''υπόκειται''
σε μια ποπ βαλκανική και τσιγγάνικη αναβάπτιση.
Οπου οι Sugababes τραγουδούν τα ¨ρακι μπλούζ" . Ο Blur ακουμπάει τις ηλεκτρικές του κιθάρες στο πάτωμα και ο ρυθμός σε παρασέρνει σε ενα πρωτοποριακό τσιφτετέλι με την ενέργεια του Django Reinhard και το "Killing in the Name του "Rage Against the Machine. Οι Besidos το μετατρέπουν σε ενα παραδοσιακό μακεδονίτικο όπου το βιολί κυριολεκτικά αφηνιάζει!
Αναμφίβολα οι Besidos είναι οι μάστορες της μεταμόρφωσης. Οι μουσικές τους αφήνουν πίσω τους μια περίεργη γεύση και αποκαλύπτουν μια μοναδική χημεία με ρίζες και αναφορές στην ιστορία του συγκροτήματος συνολικά αλλά και στα βιώματα των μελών της μπάντας χωριστά.
Η μουσική τους ''ζεστή σαν καλοκαιρι και αναζωογονητικά πικάντικη''. Εχουν μοοιραστεί την σκηνή με μπάντες και ονόματα όπως οι Baba Zula, Dubioza Kolektiv, Rotfront, Amsterdam Klezmer Band και Imam Baildi σκορπώντας αυτή την άισθηση καλοκαιριού και πικάντικης χημείας από τη Φρανκφούρτη, Ernsthofen, στην Οχρίδα και τώραΚωνσταντινούπολη !
